We had a customer who wanted to retain the original features of of their peiod fireplace but at the same time get the efficiency of a modern wood burning stove.
We had just the stove for the job…
The Contura i4 inset stove is designed to fit into narrow fireplaces and the measurements couldn’t of been more perfect. After removing the old eroded fireback and clearing the rear behind the fire we were able to slot in the Contura i4 and then connect up to a new stainless steel chimney liner.
We think the overall finish compliments the original fire and the customer is very happy.
